Qualified Intermediary Services LLC (QIS) is a Michigan
Limited Liability Company formed by Thell M. Woods, Director/Member, and Vicki
J. Cook, Member, in October 1994 to continue the Tax-Deferred Exchange services
provided by Investment Real Estate since 1965. Their combined qualifications
include:

Realtor with over 40 years experience in investment real estate
sales and property development & management
·
Certified Exchange Specialist by the Federation of Exchange Accommodators.
·
Lecturer on exchanges since 1973
·
Masters Degree in Accountancy, 1980
·
Experienced provider of intermediary services for tax-deferred
exchanges
·
Facilitator for working with Realtors, attorneys, banks &
title companies to prepare closing documents required for properly structured
exchange
Qualified Intermediary Services’ Director and Members are
neither licensed attorneys nor CPAs and cannot give the legal, accounting, or
tax advice provided by those professionals.
However, QIS does employ its own attorney/CPA for
technical questions, and will assist your lawyer or accountant in any way
possible.
